Presidents Message

It is with immense pleasure that I lead this beautiful club and its wonderful players, coaches and supporters. To make this club greater I will need great people. This is not a task that one can do alone. We have already increased the committee size and acquired some truly amazing people that can help us as we grow and improve the way we do things. However, we do not wish stop there. Every one of you can play a part whether it is large or small. Every little bit helps create the environment where our children, family and friends come together to play this glorious game.

 

We are truly blessed at Forrestfield with the facilities and area on which we play. As you may be aware there are Kalamunda City stage 2 development plans ahead and national government funding has been allocated for this project. This will include extended changerooms and LED lighting to Morrison Oval. These projects will start in the coming years and I look forward in seeing this work become fulfilled.

 

We will once again be strengthening ties with our local government agencies, local politicians and improving the relationships with sponsors and those that partner us. Without these relationships the task of building this club is insurmountable. The importance of great relationships is proof of our existence.

 

Forrestfield United has been synonymous with youth development and we will be spending time and effort to improve in this area. We are currently building a relationship with a big and successful European Football club which will elevate our coaching resources and provide an extended pathway for our most elite and talented. Although we are in the early days this looks to be a huge opportunity for Forrestfield United to demonstrate how good we can become. However, it is the grassroots of football where we can make the biggest improvement. This is where the future playing stars are discovered and new coaches are unearthed.

 

In essence the football club most be a place where people can fall in love with the game, have lifelong connections to the club and its members and a place where the community can grow and prosper. 

 

I look forward to the years ahead and hope that you will be by my side as we build, develop and strengthen our extraordinary club.
